Is laser hair removal safe for a pregnant person?
I just found out Im pregnant, Im only six weeks along. I have already done two sessions of laser hair removal on my legs and underarms. Is it okay to finish the sessions up?
Yes, it probably is safe…and you did not waste your time with the previous treatments. The issue is, why risk it? You can continue your treatments after you have delivered your baby with no loss of results.

Actually, laser hair removal only stays with you unitl you get pregnant, so you just wasited money on that and there would be no point to finishing it up because your hair will continue to grow.

'm not aware of anything in those products that would increase the risk of birth defects. Most things you use topically are absorbed far less into the mother's bloodstream than products taken orally or injected. So the amount of a topically applied product that gets to the fetus would be minimal.
If you choose to use one of these products, try to minimize your exposure by using it in a well-ventilated area and limiting the amount of time it stays on your skin.

No absolutely not, if they knew you were pregnant they would not let you do it.

I wouldn't and it is probably pointless anyway considering your hair grows at a faster rate when pregnant & congrats

I would wait until after you have your baby. There are no current studies that test the effects of laser hair removal during pregnancy. Also, always ask the advice of your doctor. They will know best.
